Job summary

Cavaghan & Gray, part of the 2 Sisters Food Group in Carlisle, is seeking a Line Assistant to support the line manager in day-to-day production operations. The role involves coordinating the team, equipment and schedules to meet despatch deadlines while upholding safety, quality and hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a production environment.
• Experience of people management or deputising in this responsibility (The Line Assistant will deputise for the Line Manager in their absence).
• CIEH Level 2 Health & Safety and Food Safety training will be provided.

• Assist Line Manager on all aspects of the day to day running of a line / area.
• Utilise team members, plant and equipment to maximise efficiency and productivity.
• Support safety, quality and hygiene standards at all times.
