Job summary

Anthony Nolan seeks a Laboratory Information Systems Coordinator to join our Technical & Labs Support team. You will help implement, optimise and support Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) across our laboratories, ensuring compliance and enabling better reporting.

The role starts with hands-on implementation at the Cell Therapy Centre, with travel to London as needed; after 12–18 months, on-site Nottingham with regular collaboration across teams and external suppliers.

Qualifications

• A relevant degree in digital systems, computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Experience delivering digital projects and translating user needs into practical solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with care for documentation and testing.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to bring technical and non-technical colleagues together.
• An organised, collaborative approach and a commitment to learning laboratory workflows and quality requirements.
• Laboratory, LIMS or regulated-environment experience would be an advantage, including ISO 15189, HTA or EFI.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation, optimisation and ongoing support of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) across Anthony Nolan Laboratories.
• Coordinate UAT, validation, and training with laboratory teams, quality, tech and external suppliers.
• Administer and support LIMS after implementation, resolving issues and documenting system changes.
• Support day-to-day use for CTC and H&I Laboratories guided by needs and priorities.
