Job summary

Radstock Primary School in Earley is seeking a part-time School Cleaner to join our team. The post is 10 hours per week during term time plus INSET and 2 weeks, with a pattern of Monday to Friday, 4.00pm–6.00pm.

You will work with our brand-new Lilypad Resource Base, performing cleaning duties to keep the learning environment clean and hygienic. Training is provided, and all post holders are required to undergo a DBS check at interview.

• Experience in cleaning duties and knowledge of best practices in cleaning.
• Ability to work under own initiative without supervision.
• Ability to work on your own and to work as part of a team.

SCHOOL CLEANER

NJC Scale Point: 3 £25,614 per annum (Actual salary £5,788 per annum)

We are seeking a hard-working and dedicated School Cleaner to work in our brand new Lilypad Resource Base. You will work as part of a team, undertaking various cleaning duties throughout the school to ensure our children’s learning environment is always clean.

We would like you to have:

• Experience in cleaning duties and knowledge of best practices in cleaning
• Ability to work under own initiative without supervision
• Aware of the importance of providing a quality service and satisfying the cleaning requirements of the school
• Aware of importance of hygiene in the work place
• Ability to work on your own and to work as part of a team
