Job summary

The DRVN Automotive Group is seeking a Lighting Lead Engineer to join a small, fast-moving engineering team in Coventry. You will provide technical and delivery leadership for complete vehicle lighting systems throughout the product development lifecycle.

You will work across headlamps, tail lamps and exterior lighting, coordinating with design, electrical, software and suppliers to ensure compliant, high-performance, cost-effective lighting solutions that meet programme timing and quality

Qualifications

• Lead engineering delivery of front and rear lighting systems across lifecycle
• Translate vehicle requirements into system and interface specifications for optical and electrical performance
• Lead reviews, problem-solving and corrective actions through to closure
• Ensure manufacturability, launch-readiness and supplier alignment for lighting systems

Responsibilities

• Engineering delivery of lighting systems from concept to series production.
• Translate requirements into controlled specifications covering optics, electrical load, diagnostics, thermal management, mass and cost.
• Lead technical reviews and drive issue resolution with cross-functional teams.
• Define build, validation and launch readiness criteria for lighting systems.
