Job summary

DRVN Automotive Group is seeking a Lead Concept Engineer to steer the creation, development and delivery of vehicle concepts for niche and specialist programmes in Coventry. You will translate customer requirements into robust concepts and lead cross-functional activities across packaging, powertrain, electrical, and manufacturing teams.

You will drive technical feasibility assessments, manage risks, and ensure concepts align with programme timing, cost and performance objectives, while

Qualifications

Significant experience in automotive concept engineering, vehicle integration, or systems engineering.
Proven track record developing concepts from customer requirements to programme definition.
Experience leading cross-functional engineering activities.

Responsibilities

Lead vehicle concept development across multiple niche programmes.
Define and maintain vehicle concepts, specifications, system requirements.
Develop target metrics for performance, mass, packaging, cost, manufacturability, attributes.
Coordinate concept reviews and gateway deliverables.
Support architecture definition and technology selection.
