Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc is seeking a M25 Lighting Supervisor to oversee maintenance across the network. You will lead lighting operatives and subcontractors, ensuring safe, productive delivery and compliance with CPS procedures and highway safety standards.

You will manage permits, coordinate resources, and deliver briefings to clarify methodology, hazards and controls, while maintaining accurate records and driving continuous improvement on the M25 network.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with the Lighting/Electrical Contractor.
• Relevant electrical qualifications and safety accreditations.
• SSSTS/SMSTS qualifications or suitable alternative.
• Previous street lighting or highway maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of lighting operatives and subcontractors on site to supervise works.
• Ensure information and permits are in place prior to works commencing.
• Manage resources to deliver works safely and productively.
• Deliver task briefings outlining methodology, hazards, risks and controls.
