Balfour Beatty plc is seeking a Senior Supervisor to lead a team delivering highway projects on the M25 corridor, ensuring safety, quality and efficient construction. You will oversee supervisors, manage pre-construction to handover activities, and ensure compliance with standards and contract requirements.

The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration with project teams and clients, and delivering cost-effective, well-planned construction outcomes within a high-profile network.

Qualifications

• Experience leading supervision/construction teams.
• Strong mindset for continuous improvement and industry best practice.
• Knowledge of engineering standards and what ‘good looks like’.
• Drive to deliver excellence and a collaborative approach to problem solving.
• Experience in design and construction of highway infrastructure projects.
• Good written and client-facing communication skills.
• Diligent and thorough with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Supervisors to ensure safe, cost-effective delivery of schemes.
• Ensure adherence to CDM regulations and NEC contract requirements.
• Coordinate with Portfolio Managers, Construction Engineers and project teams to meet requirements.
• Develop design understanding to strengthen the link between design and construction on site.
• Drive continuous improvement, safety, quality and performance across the portfolio.
