Job summary

Abacus Lighting Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Contracts team, taking ownership of a varied portfolio of lighting projects from initial planning through to successful delivery. You’ll work closely with clients, site teams and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and commercially.

The role requires proven PM experience in construction/electrical engineering, strong organisational and leadership skills, and the ability to manage RAMS, ITPs

Qualifications

• Proven project management experience in construction, electrical and engineering environments.
• Strong organisational, leadership and communication abilities.
• Experience with RAMS and ITP documentation.
• Ability to plan crane operations and complex lifts.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites across the UK.
• Understanding of safety, quality and contractual requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate resources, programmes, costs and subcontractors.
• Maintain strong client relationships and communication.
• Monitor project performance, budgets and commercial outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate and visit site teams to achieve programme, quality and delivery objectives.
• Produce and review RAMS and ITPs.
• Plan and coordinate crane operations and complex lifting activities.
