Job summary

First Military Recruitment is seeking a Production Operative for a client in Shaw, Oldham to assemble, finish, and prepare signage products to high quality standards. The role involves working with various materials and production equipment, ensuring safe, accurate, and timely delivery.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reading drawings, using hand and power tools, and following production schedules.

Qualifications

• Ability to read production drawings and work instructions.

• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Assemble signage products from drawings and work instructions.
• Build illuminated and non-illuminated signs.
• Install LED lighting systems and basic wiring.
• Prepare and finish products for inspection and dispatch.
• Operate hand and power tools safely.
• Inspect work and report defects.
• Package signs for transport and maintain a clean workspace.
• Follow production schedules to meet deadlines.
• Support other production departments as needed.
