Job summary

John Lewis Partnership is seeking a skilled vehicle technician to maintain the Waitrose E Commerce Vehicle fleet and on-site branch vehicles. You will perform scheduled repairs with a focus on quality and cost efficiency, while supporting the transport department.

The role involves working in our vehicle workshop, with a two-week rota and inclusion of some Saturday mornings at a premium overtime rate. A Full UK Driving Licence is required.

Qualifications

• City and Guilds Level 1,2 and 3 Vehicle technician or equivalent qualifications.
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
• A proven background in transport commercial vehicle repairs.
• Knowledge of commercial vehicle legislation and roadworthiness.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled repair and maintenance of the Waitrose E Commerce Vehicle fleet and outlying branch vehicles.
• Provide technical support to the on site transport department and Local Waitrose and John Lewis branches.
• Ensure repairs are carried out in a cost-effective manner with appropriate use of spare parts.
