Job summary

John Lewis Partnership is seeking a skilled vehicle technician to carry out scheduled repair and maintenance of the Waitrose E Commerce Vehicle fleet and related branch vehicles at Magna Park.

You will provide technical support to the on-site transport department, ensuring cost-effective repairs with appropriate spare parts, in a permanent full-time role with 37.5 hours per week on a 2-week rota including alternating Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Qualified vehicle technician with City & Guilds L1–L3.
• Full UK manual driving licence.
• Proven background in transport commercial vehicle repairs.
• Knowledge of commercial vehicle legislation and roadworthiness.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled repair and maintenance of the on-site E-commerce light commercial fleet.
• Repair and maintain outlying commercial and light commercial vehicles.
• Ensure high-quality repairs are cost-effective and that spare parts usage reflects the work performed.
