Job summary

John Lewis & Partners is hiring a Vehicle Technician to carry out scheduled repair and maintenance of the Waitrose E Commerce vehicle fleet and related branches at Magna Park (NDC). The role requires a hands-on, safety‑aware approach and adherence to best practice repair techniques.

You will support the on‑site transport department, possess City & Guilds levels 1–3 in vehicle technician work, a full UK manual driving licence, and a background in commercial vehicle repairs.

Qualifications

• City and Guilds Level 1–3 Vehicle technician qualifications demonstrated.
• Full UK manual driving licence held.
• Proven background in transport commercial vehicle repairs.
• Knowledge of commercial vehicle legislation and roadworthiness.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled repair and maintenance of the on-site E commerce light commercial fleet.
• Repair and maintain outlying commercial and light commercial vehicles.
• Provide technical support to the on-site transport department and branches.
• Ensure repairs are high quality and cost-effective with appropriate parts usage.
