CAF (Construcciones y Auxiliar de Ferrocarriles) is seeking a technician to join the workshop at Gogar to maintain rolling stock vehicles. You’ll work within a supportive team, conducting routine maintenance, fault finding, overhauls and repairs across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

The role includes time in CAF’s Light Rail maintenance training programme with experienced technicians.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering is required.
• Post-apprenticeship experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s Licence required.
• Willingness to work shifts and adapt to a rotating schedule.

Responsabilités

• Carry out maintenance on rolling stock in the workshop at Gogar.
• Perform routine maintenance, fault finding, overhauls and repairs.
• Work on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Complete training in the CAF Light Rail maintenance programme.
