Qualificações

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline.
• Completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship.

• Proactive approach with commitment to safety and quality.
• Full, valid UK driving licence.

The Role

As a Preventative Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and availability of the fleet by carrying out planned maintenance, inspections, overhauls, and repairs on rolling stock vehicles.

Working as part of an experienced maintenance team, you will use your engineering expertise across a range of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, while developing your skills through a comprehensive training programme.

Your responsibilities will include:

• - Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on rolling stock vehicles.
• - Performing inspections, servicing, overhauls, and repairs.
• - Undertaking basic fault finding and diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues.
• - Working on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Full Training & Development

From day one, youll begin a structured Light Rail Maintenance Training Programme, designed to develop your technical knowledge and provide you with the specialist skills required for the role.

Your training will include:

• - Mentoring alongside experienced maintenance technicians.
• - Classroom-based technical learning.
• - Online training modules.
• - Practical hands-on training across a variety of vehicle systems.
