Job summary

The NRL Group is seeking experienced Lift Supervisors to manage safe lifting operations across large-scale UK projects. You will coordinate operators, riggers, banksmen and project teams, ensuring compliance with approved lift plans and safety standards.

We expect extensive experience in heavy lifts, strong leadership, and the ability to travel to sites nationwide. Permanent site-based roles offer ongoing training, competitive pay, and company benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise lifting operations safely and efficiently in line with approved lift plans and method statements.
• Ensure compliance with company, client and legislative safety standards.
• Conduct pre-lift briefings and coordinate operators, riggers, banksmen and other personnel.
• Manage lifting-related risks and intervene when necessary to maintain safe operations.
• Liaise with project teams, appointed persons and client representatives.
• Verify lifting equipment and accessories are used correctly and remain fit for purpose.
• Complete all documentation and reporting accurately and promptly.
• Foster a strong safety culture and support continuous operational excellence.

Must-have Requirements:

• Valid Blue CPCS Qualified (Slinger/Signaller) together with Red or Blue CPCS Supervisor card as a minimum.
• Proven experience supervising heavy lift or complex lifting operations.
• Sound understanding of lifting regulations, safe systems of work and industry best practice.
• Competent with heavy lifting equipment.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites nationwide.
• Rigging and Fleeting of Loads(ECITB) certification.
• CCNSGandIPAFqualifications.
• Familiarity withSPMTs, strandjacks andjacking&skidding systems.

We are recruiting multiple Lift Supervisors, with several positions available.

From £19.00 to £28.00perhour basic depending on experience and skills, with overtime and allowances. Multi-disciplined Supervisors with experience across SPMTs, strandjacks, or jacking&skidding can earn up to the high£20s perhour.
