Job summary

A specialized engineering recruitment firm is seeking a Lift Supervisor / Slinger for a project in Crewe. The candidate will oversee the safe lifting of mechanical components and perform slinging and signalling duties on a water treatment site's upgrade project. Required qualifications include CPCS - Lift / Crane Supervisor and Slinger Signaller, along with a Safety Critical Medical certificate. Additional certifications in Confined Space and Working at Height are advantageous. Competitive night shift pay rates apply.

Job description

Position: Lift Supervisor / Slinger

Location: Crewe

Duration: 1-2 weeks

Shifts: Nights

Hours: 12 hr shifts Mon-Sun

PAYE Pay Rates

Night shifts:

Mon-Fri, All Hours: £35.44/hr including Holiday Pay

Sat-Sun, All Hours: £42.00/hr including Holiday Pay

Attendance Bonus on all hours worked: £0.50/hr

Lodge Allowance: £55.00/night + Lodge Uplift: £12.50/night (where applicable)

Travel: £14.52/hr (where applicable)

The Role

Our client has a requirement for a Lift Supervisor / Slinger for a major upgrade project on a water treatment site in Crewe. The project will involve the refurbishment of cooling towers at height and will include overseeing the safe lift of mechanical components as well as slinging and signalling duties.
