Job summary

King Lifting Ltd. in Bristol and across the UK seeks experienced Machinery & Plant Movement Riggers and Lift Supervisors/Foremen to join our skilled teams.

You will work with mobile cranes, Hiab lorries, Versa Lift forklifts, MEWPs, and hydraulic gantry systems on high-value projects across the UK with occasional overnight stays. We welcome candidates with relevant CPCS cards and a proactive, customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• CPCS Blue Card with required categories.
• Physically fit to perform strenuous manual work and long hours.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role or environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with proactive problem solving.
• Excellent customer service and ability to adapt to changing sites.

Responsibilities

• Work with our lifting and plant movement teams on various projects across the UK.
• Operate mobile cranes, Hiab loaders, Versa Lift forklifts, MEWPs and gantries.
• Assist in jacking and skating high value plant and machinery.
• Travel and stay away from home when required.
• Support installation of mechanical/electrical plant and relocations.

The Role

We are looking for experienced Machinery & Plant Movement Riggers and Lift Supervisors/Foreman.

You will be working with our experienced and highly skilled lifting and plant movement teams. There is the opportunity for travel and work all over the UK which may involve staying away from home, on occasions.

You will work with mobile cranes, Hiab lorry loaders, Versa Lift forklifts, MEWP, hydraulic gantry jacking systems and you will be involved in jacking and skating high value plant and machinery.

Forklift truck/MEWP/Telehandler certs would be advantageous. Additional training is available for the right candidates.

Our key areas of work focus on installation of mechanical and electrical plant, factory relocations and bespoke equipment moves. Operating in the Data Centre, Aerospace, Automotive, Mechanical and Electrical Services and Construction industry.
