Job summary

P+S Personnel is seeking an Operations & Lifting Manager to join our client’s team in Great Yarmouth on a full-time, temporary basis for up to 3 months. You will oversee the lifting division, supervise engineers and office staff, and ensure efficient operations and compliance with industry standards.

The role requires proven lifting operations experience, leadership capabilities, and a solid health and safety mindset.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in lifting operations, ideally within a similar industry.
• Familiarity with LOLER regulations and their practical application.
• Experience in managing a team and overseeing operational processes.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Health and Safety awareness; NEBOSH certification is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the management of the lifting division, including supervising core engineers, office staff, and operations.
• Monitor and manage the division manager's emails and ensure all communications are handled promptly.
• Understand and streamline division processes to maintain efficiency and effectiveness.
• Coordinate with lifting engineers who perform loading expansions and other field operations.
• Oversee the buying and selling of lifting equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
