Job summary

P+S Personnel are seeking an Operations & Lifting Manager to join their team in Great Yarmouth on a full-time, temporary basis for up to 3 months. You will oversee the lifting division, supervise engineers and office staff, and ensure efficient operations.

Strong leadership and knowledge of lifting operations are essential to drive compliance and performance. Experience with LOLER regulations and NEBOSH certification is advantageous; NECESSARY but not essential.

P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking an Operations & Lifting Manager to join their team based in Great Yarmouth on a full-time, temporary basis for up to 3 months.

Main Responsibilities:

• Oversee the management of the lifting division, including supervising core engineers, office staff, and operations.
• Monitor and manage the division manager's emails and ensure all communications are handled promptly.
• Understand and streamline division processes to maintain efficiency and effectiveness.
• Coordinate with lifting engineers who perform loading expansions and other field operations.
• Oversee the buying and selling of lifting equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Person Specification:

• Proven experience in lifting operations, ideally within a similar industry.
• Familiarity with LOLER regulations and their application in a practical environment.
• Experience in managing a team and overseeing operational processes.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Health and Safety awareness; NEBOSH certification is advantageous but not essential.

Working Hours:

• Full-time, 42.5 hours per week
• 08:30-17:00
