Job summary

Arabelle Solutions seeks a Lifting Supervisor to support outages across the UK and internationally. The role focuses on producing lifting plans, RAMS, and ensuring LOLER compliance, tool readiness, and safe lifting operations.

You will review outage plans with the Outage Manager, oversee rigging crews, mentor Slingers, and report issues while coordinating with clients and field advisors.

Qualifications

• CPCS A61 or NPORS N401 Blue Card required.
• Level 5 Diploma in Controlling Lift Operations (Planning Lifts) with valid Blue Card.
• Experience as Level 3 Rigger or Level 4 Lifting Operations Supervisor.
• Experience in Field Services within Steam Turbines, Gas Turbines, Generators, or Balance of Plant environments.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the UK and internationally.
• Strong leadership, planning, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Review Outage Plans of work with the Outage Manager and Technical Field Advisors.
• Produce Outage Specific Lifting Plans and RAMS for major or complex lifts.
• Produce and manage site lay down plans including logistics.
• Ensure crane handover documentation is completed before site start with issues communicated to client and Outage Manager.
• Ensure tooling is safe, tested, and certified per LOLER regulations.
• Validate and inspect Customer and OEM lifting equipment.
• Ensure all equipment is checked for safe use before each lift and documented.
• Coordinate lifting and rigging during outages; lead safety briefings and toolbox talks.
• Mentor Slingers, riggers and lift supervisors; report deviations and contribute to continuous improvement.
