Job summary

Mitsubishi Power EMEA is seeking an experienced Lifting Coordinator & HSE to join our Outage Services team. This dual-role will lead lift planning during project prep and oversee on-site lifting operations during outages, ensuring compliance with LOLER, PUWER and UK health and safety laws.

You will work with engineers, project managers and site teams across the UK and Ireland, with occasional travel to the wider EMEA region, driving safe, efficient lift operations and continuous improvement in

Qualifications

• Appointed Person qualifications or equivalent required.
• NEBOSH National Certificate or progressing toward.
• 5–7 years lifting operations experience.
• Knowledge of LOLER and PUWER regulations.
• Experience developing lift plans and risk assessments.
• Experience with lifting planning software or CAD advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive lift plans for diverse operations.
• Prepare lifting risk assessments and method statements.
• Select appropriate lifting equipment and ensure certification.
• Provide technical guidance on customer-supplied equipment.
• Lead and coordinate lifting operations on site with engineers and site teams.
• Monitor compliance with UK health and safety legislation.
• Lead investigations into incidents and implement corrective actions.
