Job summary

Arabelle Solutions seeks a Lifting Specialist to travel to customer sites and support the production of specialized outage lifting plans required for complex lifts. The role requires strong LOLER knowledge and leadership to guide riggers and lift supervisors.

You will produce RAMS, validate equipment, and ensure safety across outages, with extensive travel across the UK and internationally. Fluent English and advanced planning skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires CPCS A61/NPORS N401 Blue Card and Level 5 Lift Operations diploma.
• Experience as a Level 3 Rigger or Level 4 Lifting Ops Supervision diploma.
• Willingness to travel UK and internationally for projects.

Responsibilities

• Review outage plans with Outage Manager and Technical Field Advisors.
• Produce outage lifting plans and RAMS for major lifts during outages.
• Create and manage site lay-down plans including logistics.
• Ensure crane handover docs are completed pre-start and communicate issues.
• Verify tooling is compliant with LOLER; ensure safe equipment on site.
• Validate and inspect customer and OEM lifting equipment.
• Check equipment prior to each lift; oversee safe use.
• Direct lifting operations and rigging procedures during outages.
• Deliver toolbox talks; implement Putting People to Work process.
• Maintain RAMS compliance and LOLER adherence; ensure staff safety.
• Lead, mentor Slingers, riggers and lift supervisors.
• Report deviations, NCRs and incidents; participate in continuous improvement.
