Job summary

TÜV SÜD in the UK is seeking an Engineer Surveyor to perform statutory inspections of lifting equipment at client sites across the Birmingham to Leicester area. You will coordinate with the planning team to ensure efficient routes and timely delivery of inspections.

The role requires demonstrable lift industry experience, mechanical/electrical skills, and a driving licence, with strong IT proficiency and a proactive, self-motivated approach.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
• Demonstrable lift industry experience.
• Mechanical and electrical skills.
• EOR 202/SAFED LR1 certification."
• Proficient IT skills: Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Carry out inspections of lifting equipment and accessories.
• Maintain stock records and data entry.
• Perform LOLER/PUWER inspections.
• Prepare site inspection reports per regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service and liaise with clients.
• Work to Quality, Health, Safety and Environment regs.
