Job summary

TÜV SÜD Ltd. is seeking an Engineer Surveyor to join our UK team. The role involves carrying out statutory inspections at customer sites across the Liverpool, Chester and Manchester area, with a focus on lifting equipment and related safety standards.

Candidates should have a mechanical/electrical background, NVQ 3 or equivalent, and a full UK driving licence. Strong IT skills and a customer-focused mindset are essential for delivering compliant reports and proactive service.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 minimum or equivalent qualification.
• ,
• Demonstrable experience in the Lift Industry.
• Excellent IT skills and use of Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Carry out inspections/examinations of lifting equipment and accessories in accordance with statutory regulations.
• Carry out LOLER / PUWER inspection on various types of lifting equipment.
• Complete site inspection reports in line with applicable regulations.
• Build rapport with clients and provide excellent customer service.
• Adhere to Quality, Health, Safety and Environment regulations.
