Job summary

Ainscough Crane Hire in Maidstone is seeking an experienced Lift Supervisor to join our Maidstone depot. You will supervise lifting operations to ensure safety and compliance with approved plans and industry standards, and you must hold a CPCS A62 Blue Card and a full driving licence.

You’ll work with the lifting team, interpret risk assessments and lift plans, and escalate safety concerns when needed, maintaining clear communication with customers and site teams.

Qualifications

• CPCS A62 Blue Card is essential.
• Experience as a Crane/Lift Supervisor required.
• Know‑how of BS7121 Parts 1 and 3.
• Ability to interpret RAs, MS and Lift Plans.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise lifting operations per approved Method Statements and Lift Plans.
• Interpret Risk Assessments, Method Statements and related drawings.
• Brief and guide the lifting team with clear instructions.
• Monitor operations and intervene to maintain safety; stop unsafe activities.
• Communicate with customers and site teams; identify efficiency improvements.
