Ainscough Crane Hire Limited is seeking an experienced Mobile Crane Operator to join our Aberdeen depot. You will operate cranes safely, deliver a first-class service to customers and work with site teams to ensure safe, compliant lifts.

You will hold a CPCS Blue Card with Mobile Crane Operator authorisation, a full UK driving licence, and ideally an HGV Class C licence. A pro-safety, professional approach is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience and qualifications to operate safely and professionally.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• In-date CPCS Blue Card with Mobile Crane Operator authorisation.
• Knowledge of wind and climatic effects on cranes and loads.
• Professional, customer-focused approach; safety is non-negotiable.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile cranes safely and professionally, delivering first-class service.
• Set up outriggers correctly and safely.
• Check rated capacity limiter and indicator.
• Perform pre-use and operational checks.
• Work with Site/Project Managers on site arrivals.
• Read crane duty charts and relevant documentation.
• Assess wind and environmental conditions and stop if unsafe.
• Maintain PPE and high safety standards.
• Keep crane and documentation up to date.
• Represent Ainscough professionally on customer sites.
