Job summary

Professional Technical Ltd is seeking an experienced Lift Service & Call Out Engineer to service and maintain lifts across Newcastle upon Tyne and surrounding areas. You will manage a dedicated service route, perform servicing and minor repairs, and respond to fault calls with strong diagnostic skills.

The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ Level 3, have a background in lift engineering, and possess excellent electrical and mechanical knowledge.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 is essential.
• Background in lift engineering or service & maintenance.
• Proven fault-finding and diagnostics ability.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own service route across Newcastle upon Tyne and surrounding areas.
• Carry out servicing, maintenance and minor repairs.
• Apply lift engineering knowledge in fault-finding situations.
• Attend reactive call outs as required.
• Participate in an on-call rota.
• Maintain high health and safety standards and build strong customer relationships.
