Job summary

Professional Technical Ltd in Birmingham seeks an experienced Lift Service Engineer to cover the Birmingham area for servicing, maintenance and minor repairs. You will manage your own service route and fault-find lifts, with on-call standby one week in four.

The ideal candidate has a lift engineering background (service/repair/installation), NVQ Level 3, and strong electrical and mechanical knowledge. The role includes a company vehicle, tools, a laptop and phone, plus 25 days holiday and a 5%

Qualifications

• Background in lift engineering (service/repair/installation) required.
• NVQ Level 3 is essential.
• Experience on a variety of lift products.
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage your assigned service route in Birmingham.
• Fault finding and fault diagnosis on lifts.
• Attend call outs; standby one week in four.
• Work to best practices and safety standards.
