Job summary

Stannah Group is seeking a Lift Repair Engineer to cover Southampton and surrounding areas. This hands-on role focuses on repairs, fault finding, and keeping lifts running reliably. You'll manage your own day-to-day work with support from a local supervisor.

The patch is local, with a mix of commercial, residential and public sites, and a focus on reducing unnecessary travel. Salary up to £53,000 (incl OTE) based on skills and experience.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Lift Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Experience as a lift engineer (service/repair).
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out repairs and fault finding on lifts.
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues.
• Replacing and upgrading components.
• Attending breakdowns and supporting call-outs.
• Getting lifts back into service safely and efficiently.
• Completing site paperwork and keeping records up to date.
