Job summary

Stannah Group in Basingstoke is seeking a Lift Repair Engineer to service and repair lifts across a local patch. You’ll diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, carry out repairs and liaise with clients to keep lifts running safely and efficiently.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent), plus experience as a lift engineer and a full UK driving licence. A market-aligned salary plus benefits is on offer.

Lift Repair Engineer Job in Basingstoke at Stannah - Join Our Team!

Salary Up to £53,000 (incl OTE) based on skills and experience level.

Hours:

Monday–Thursday: 08:00 – 16:45 Friday: 08:00 – 15:45 (early finish)

We’re looking for a Lift Repair Engineer to cover Basingstoke and surrounding areas. This is a hands‑on role focused on repairs, fault finding, and keeping lifts running reliably. You’ll be working across a local patch, dealing with breakdowns, worn components, and more complex faults. You’ll manage your own work day‑to‑day, with support from a local supervisor when needed.

Your Patch:

• Covering Basingstoke and nearby areas
• Local, structured patch
• Mix of commercial, residential and public sites
• No unnecessary long-distance travel
