Job summary

Stannah Group in Basingstoke is seeking a Lift Repair Engineer to cover Basingstoke and surrounding areas. You will diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, perform repairs, and reset lifts to full operation across a patch of commercial, residential, and public sites.

The role includes a market-aligned salary up to £53,000 (OTE) with a company van and additional benefits. A full UK driving licence and NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering are required, with on-site work Monday to Friday and

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent) is required.
• Experience working as a lift engineer (service/repair) is preferred.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out repairs and fault finding on lifts.
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues.
• Replacing and upgrading components.
• Attending breakdowns and supporting call-outs.
• Getting lifts back into service safely and efficiently.
• Completing site paperwork and keeping records up to date.
