Job summary

Stannah Group in Guildford is seeking a Lift Service Engineer to cover Guildford and surrounding areas, servicing lifts, fault finding and keeping systems running safely day-to-day with support from a local team. A full UK driving licence is required.

You will carry out servicing, repairs and routine maintenance; attend breakdowns; fault find and restore operation, while keeping sites safe, compliant and with clear site logs. Salary up to £53,000 (incl OTE) and a company van are on offer.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience working as a lift engineer (service/repair).
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, repairs and routine maintenance.
• Attending breakdowns and callouts.
• Fault finding and getting lifts back up and running.
• Keeping sites safe and compliant.
• Completing site logs and basic paperwork.

Salary Up to £53,000 (incl OTE) based on skills and experience level.

Working Hours

Monday–Thursday: 08:00 – 16:45

Friday: 08:00 – 15:45 (early finish)

We’re looking for a Lift Service Engineer to cover a route across Guildford and surrounding areas. You’ll be looking after your own patch — servicing lifts, fault finding, and keeping things running safely day-to-day, with support from a local team when you need it.

Your Patch

• Covering Guildford and nearby areas
• Structured route (no random national travel)
• Mix of commercial, residential and public sites
• Mostly staying within your allocated area
