Schindler Group in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Lift and Escalator Maintenance Technician to service, fault-find and repair equipment across a mixed portfolio. You will perform planned maintenance, respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults and restore service with safety and quality at the forefront.

You will work with thorough documentation, risk assessments and site reports, collaborate with customers and inspectors, and contribute to downtime reduction while complying with health

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience servicing and fault-finding on lift and escalator equipment.
• NVQ Level 3 Lift/ Escalator Engineering or equivalent training/experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding across product lines.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation, drawings and schematics.
• Full UK driving licence.

Aufgaben

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance across lift and escalator equipment in line with contract and safety standards.
• Perform routine servicing, adjustments, minor repairs and component replacements.
• Respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults and restore service efficiently, minimising downtime.
• Conduct operational, safety and performance checks on electrical and mechanical systems.
• Complete advanced fault-finding using documentation and testing equipment.
• Complete service reports, risk assessments and site documentation accurately.
• Build effective relationships with customers, site representatives and inspectors.
• Ensure all work complies with health, safety, quality and environmental procedures.
