Schindler UK & Ireland is seeking a Lift Service Engineer to cover Salford and Lancashire. You will perform planned preventative maintenance on portfolio lift equipment and support the local team with customer communications while upholding safety standards.

The role requires experience in lift servicing/maintenance, NVQ 3 in lift maintenance or equivalent, and strong electrical/mechanical knowledge. A valid UK driving license is essential, with opportunities for training and career progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in lift servicing/maintenance/repairs preferred
• NVQ level 3 in lift maintenance or equivalent
• Advanced electrical and mechanical knowledge
• Full UK driving license

Responsabilités

• Carry out routine servicing of lift equipment including minor repairs
• Rectify faults on lift equipment and confirm proper operation
• Perform checks on speed, motor start/stop, noise and power supply
• Inspect escalator installations and complete service documentation
• Perform fault finding and diagnostics with appropriate tools
• Use written/graphical information effectively
