Job summary

Schindler Group in London is seeking an Escalator Service Engineer to maintain safe, reliable escalator operations across sites in London and the South region. You will perform planned maintenance, fault-finding and repairs, across high-profile client sites, with potential lift experience beneficial.

The role requires strong electrical/mechanical skills, a full UK driving licence and a focus on safety, quality and customer service. On-site position with competitive package and benefits.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Escalator Engineering or NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent industry-recognised training and experience
• Experience on escalators and lifts, with fault-finding and repair capabilities
• Strong emphasis on safety standards, risk assessments and compliant working methods

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service escalator systems across London and the South region
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance, fault-finding, breakdown response and repairs
• Complete service documentation, maintenance records and site reports accurately
