Job summary

Stannah in Cambridge is seeking a Lift Service Engineer to cover Cambridge and surrounding areas. You will service lifts, fault find, and keep systems running safely day-to-day, with support from a local team.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent), a full UK driving licence, and a proven track record as a lift engineer. A company van is provided, along with a market-aligned salary and comprehensive benefits.

Stannah | Full-Time | Permanent

Salary Up to £53,000 (incl OTE) based on skills and experience level.

Working Hours:
Monday–Thursday: 08:00 – 16:45
Friday: 08:00 – 15:45 (early finish)

We’re looking for a Lift Service Engineer to cover a route across Cambridge and surrounding areas.

You’ll be looking after your own patch — servicing lifts, fault finding, and keeping things running safely day-to-day, with support from a local team when you need it.

Your Patch:

• Covering Cambridge and nearby areas
• Structured route (no random national travel)
• Mix of commercial, residential and public sites
• Mostly staying within your allocated area

Lift Engineer Responsibilities:

• Carrying out servicing, repairs and routine maintenance
• Attending breakdowns and callouts
• Fault finding and getting lifts back up and running
• Keeping sites safe and compliant
