Job summary

The University of Strathclyde is seeking Sport Attendants to join Strathclyde Sport's Operational team on a minimum of 100 guaranteed hours per year. You will deliver high-quality customer service, lifeguard duties, and help with equipment setup and reception tasks using the Gladstone system.

Responsibilities include pool lifeguarding, assisting with bookings and memberships, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and working to a Duty Manager schedule.

Qualifications

• Valid RLSS or STA Pool Lifeguard qualification.
• Customer-focused with reception duties.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Flexible hours: 6.30am–10.30pm Mon–Fri; 8.30am–6.30pm Sat/Sun if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Lifeguard across swimming facilities.
• Set up and down of sports and class equipment.
• Reception duties and bookings using the Gladstone system.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness and security of the environment.
