Job summary

Virgin Active Northampton is seeking a dedicated Lifeguard to join our Operations Team at Northampton Collingtree Park. You will help provide a safe, welcoming poolside environment and deliver excellent member experiences.

You will perform safety checks, monitor water quality, maintain cleanliness, and respond decisively to emergencies. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with opportunities to develop within a premium wellness environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold current Lifeguard qualification and be fully registered (RLSS/HABC/STA).

Responsibilities

• Maintain poolside safety and high standards of cleanliness.
• Monitor water chemical levels and ensure water quality.
• Respond confidently to emergencies and incidents.
• Deliver exceptional member service and experiences.
• Complete mandatory training and health & safety requirements.
• Fulfil duty shifts and manage shift-related club issues.
