Job summary

Center Parcs UK & Ireland is hiring Lifeguards for the Subtropical Swimming Paradise at Elveden Forest. You will help create a safe and welcoming experience for every guest, uphold high health and safety standards, and deliver great guest care.

Requirements include RLSS Pool Lifeguard / NARS, able to swim 50 metres in 55 seconds, and 20 hours of CPD. DBS check is required. Shifts run 7:00–21:30, across 7 days, with various contracts offered.

• RLSS Pool Lifeguard / NARS Qualification with 20 hours CPD completed.
• Able to swim 50 metres within 55 seconds.
• Strong communication and ability to stay calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing

• Monitor pool areas, ensuring guest safety and responding to emergencies
• Provide friendly, professional customer service
• Maintain cleanliness and uphold health and safety standards
• Complete NPLQ training and demonstrate rescue and first aid skills

To be a Lifeguard, you must be a strong swimmer and pass a swim test during the interview, which includes diving into deep water, timed swimming on front and back and exiting the pool without assistance.

Your working hours

• Various contracts available
• You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum over a 4-week period. You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements
• These shifts will fall between 7am and 9:30pm, across Monday to Sunday

About You

• RLSS Pool Lifeguard / NARS Qualification and completed 20-hours of continued professional development
• Able to swim 50 metres within 55 seconds
• Communicate effectively with people and stay calm under pressure
• Friendly, genuine and warm towards guests and colleagues
