Job summary

Center Parcs is seeking a Lifeguard - Qualified at Elveden Forest to help ensure guest safety and deliver outstanding care. You will monitor pool areas, respond to emergencies and maintain high hygiene standards in a busy Subtropical Swimming Paradise.

Shifts vary with multiple contracts; you may be required to work across 7 days. A DBS check is required and NPLQ training is provided. Competitive hourly pay and career development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• RLSS Pool Lifeguard / NARS qualification and 20 hours CPD.
• Ability to swim 50 metres within 55 seconds.
• Strong communication and stays calm under pressure.

As a Lifeguard in our Subtropical Swimming Paradise, you'll help create a safe and welcoming experience for every guest. You'll uphold the highest health and safety standards while delivering exceptional guest care.

What you'll be doing

• Monitor pool areas, ensuring guest safety and responding to emergencies
• Provide friendly, professional customer service
• Maintain cleanliness and uphold health and safety standards
• Complete NPLQ training and demonstrate rescue and first aid skills

To be a Lifeguard, you must be a strong swimmer and pass a swim test during the interview, which includes diving into deep water, timed swimming on front and back and exiting the pool without assistance.

Your working hours

• Various contracts available
• You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum over a 4‑week period. You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements
• These shifts will fall between 7am and 9:30pm, across Monday to Sunday

About you

• RLSS Pool Lifeguard / NARS Qualification and completed 20‑hours of continued professional development

• Communicate effectively with people and stay calm under pressure
• Friendly, genuine and warm towards guests and colleagues
