Job summary

Nottingham City Council is seeking an enthusiastic Lifeguard to supervise pool users at Harvey Hadden Sports Village. The role focuses on safety, customer service, cleanliness and correct handling of equipment in line with health and safety guidelines.

Shifts include early, mid and late hours with weekend work, plus monthly training. The ideal candidate holds a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification and is prepared to obtain Swim England/STA qualification if needed.

Qualifications

• National Pool Lifeguard Qualification 10th Edition.
• Knowledge of a range of sport and leisure activities.
• Hold or be willing to obtain Swim England or STA Swim Teachers Qualification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe supervision of customers using the pools and centre areas.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to maintain high standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and a safe environment for customers.
• Set up, break down and store equipment per guidelines and health and safety standards.
• Work shifts and flexible hours; attend monthly staff training.
