Job summary

Nottingham City Council is seeking enthusiastic lifeguards to supervise pool areas, ensure safety and deliver high standards of customer service. You will assist with setup, maintain cleanliness and comply with health and safety guidelines while rotating shifts to cover service needs.

We welcome applicants with National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ 10th Edition), knowledge of sport and leisure activities, and a DBS check. Hybrid/work arrangements may apply and a closing date is listed.

Qualifications

• NPLQ (10th Edition) is required.
• Knowledge of a range of sport and leisure activities.
• Hold or be willing to obtain Swim England or STA Swim Teachers Qualification within 12 weeks.
• DBS enhanced check is required for this post.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe supervision of customers using swimming pools and centre areas.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by adhering to professional standards.
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness and a safe environment for customers.
• Set up, breakdown and store equipment in line with guidelines and health and safety.
