Job summary

Nottingham City Council is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Lifeguard to supervise pool and facility areas at Harvey Hadden Sports Village. You will deliver excellent customer service, maintain high safety and cleanliness standards, and assist with equipment setup and storage during shifts.

The role requires National Pool Lifeguard Qualification, knowledge of sport and leisure activities, and DBS clearance. Hybrid working options are available; contact Tom Bartley for informal enquiries.

Qualifications

• National Pool Lifeguard Qualification 10th Edition.
• Knowledge of a range of sport and leisure activities.
• Hold or be willing to obtain Swim England or STA Swim Teachers Qualification within 12 weeks.
• A DBS enhanced check is required for this post.

Responsibilities

• Supervise customers in swimming pools and centre areas to ensure safety.
• Deliver high-quality customer service while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
• Set up and store equipment according to guidelines and health and safety rules; cover shifts as needed.
