Job summary

Dumfries and Galloway Council is seeking a Leisure Attendant for Kelloholm Leisure Centre. This part-time role covers 7.5 hours per week across 52.14 weeks per year. You will help maintain a fun, safe space for pool visitors and join a supportive team.

You will engage with customers, promote activities, and support the centre with cleanliness and equipment setup. PVG checks apply as part of safeguarding policies.

Qualifications

• Friendly, reliable and confident working with people (especially children).
• Team player with a positive attitude and good communication.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to engage with visitors.
• First Aid qualification is a bonus but not essential.
• Some knowledge of health and safety is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Keeping customers safe.
• Chatting with customers and providing great service.
• Helping keep the facility clean and tidy.
• Setting up and packing away equipment for activities.
• Promoting swimming and other Leisure & Sport activities.
