Job summary

South Staffordshire Council is seeking enthusiastic and self-disciplined individuals to undertake lifeguard duties, assemble sports equipment, general cleaning duties and assist customers at Wombourne Leisure Centre. Successful candidates will ensure pool supervision standards, centre cleanliness, housekeeping and hygiene, and should hold a current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification.

An enhanced DBS check will be carried out and is a condition of appointment.

Qualifications

• Previous work experience in leisure and/or customer service environments.
• Current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification is required.
• Background checks via DBS will be carried out.

Responsibilities

• Undertake lifeguard duties and ensure pool supervision.
• Assemble sports equipment as required.
• Perform general cleaning duties and maintain hygiene standards.
• Deal with customer enquiries and provide good service.
