Job summary

Folkestone & Hythe District Council invites applications for Lifeguards at Hythe Swimming Pool. Candidates must hold the RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) and be able to work a rolling rota across a range of shifts.

We offer permanent roles at 18.5 hours (part-time) or 37 hours (full-time) per week, with benefits including generous leave and pension scheme. Applications close after review of received applications on a rolling basis.

Responsibilities

Are you calm under pressure, confident in the water, and passionate about delivering excellent customer service? If so, Hythe Swimming Pool would love to welcome you to our team!

We’re looking for experienced Lifeguards to help ensure our swimmers stay safe whilst keeping our facilities running smoothly.

To be considered, you must hold the RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ)and have the ability to work a range of shifts on a rolling rota.

We have multiple permanent roles available at either 18.5 hours (part-time) or 37 hours (full-time) per week. These positions are not suitable for those seeking casual/zero-hour arrangements or those currently in full-time education.
