Job summary

Nuffield Health is seeking a Lifeguard for our Birmingham Rubery FWC gym on a bank/adhoc basis. You will safeguard members using our wet-side facilities and provide friendly, professional support to ensure a safe environment.

Applicants should hold an NPLQ or equivalent, with enthusiasm and a team spirit. The role is bank hours with potential for variety and growth within a supportive fitness group.

Qualifications

• Must hold National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent.
• Provide ongoing training records and demonstrate enthusiasm and teamwork.
• Excellent customer care and ability to work in a pool environment.

Responsibilities

Up to £12.84 per hour

As a Lifeguard at our gym, you’ll hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent and you’re able to provide ongoing training records. As a Lifeguard, you will:

• Help our members stay safe and healthy when using our wet side facilities – the swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room

• Be attentive and alert at all times

• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment

• Welcome and support members when using the facilities

• Pay close attention to safety and respond to any incidents straight away

• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times
