Job summary

Nuffield Health in Northampton is seeking a Lifeguard to work on a bank contract at our Fitness and Wellbeing Club. You will help keep swimmers safe and provide friendly, professional service.

You must hold an NPLQ and keep training records, have enthusiasm and be a team player, and you will join a welcoming, customer‑focused environment with access to gym memberships and healthcare benefits. Qualifications

• Must hold National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ).
• Bank contract; ad hoc shifts in Northampton.
• Strong customer care and teamwork mindset.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pool, spa, sauna and steam room to ensure safety.
• Provide a friendly, relaxed and professional environment.
• Welcome members with a warm, efficient service.
• Be attentive and alert at all times.
• Engage with members and support their needs.
• Respond immediately to any incidents.

As a Lifeguard at our Northampton Fitness and Wellbeing Club, you’ll hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) and you’re able to provide ongoing training records. You have bags of enthusiasm, a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills. Like us, you’re passionate about great customer care – and you’re a real team player.

As a Lifeguard, you will:

• Help our members stay safe and healthy when using our brilliant wet facilities – the swimming pool, spa pool, sauna and steam room

• Do everything you can to create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment

• Make sure everyone who arrives at our club enjoys a warm welcome and efficient service

• Be attentive and alert at all times

• Connect with members, helping them to feel valued and supported

• Pay close attention to safety and respond to any incidents straight away
