Job summary

Nuffield Health is hiring a Lifeguard for Guiseley FWC to help keep our pool and wet-side facilities safe and welcoming. This ad-hoc bank role means you work to suit the business needs and your availability, earning £12.84 per hour.

You will hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent and keep training records up to date. We value enthusiasm, a positive attitude and a real team-player approach, plus excellent customer care.

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

As a Lifeguard, you will:

• Help our members stay safe and healthy when using our wet side facilities – the swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room
• Be attentive and alert at all times
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment
• Welcome and support members when using the facilities
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to any incidents straight away
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times
