Job summary

Nuffield Health Derby is seeking a Lifeguard to help keep our members safe and engaged in our pool, spa and wellness facilities. You'll work 5 hours per week, part-time, with a pro-rata salary up to £26,707.20 depending on experience.

You must hold an NPLQ or equivalent, bring enthusiasm and team spirit, and maintain high safety standards. The role offers training, development and access to our member benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent.
• Provide ongoing training records as required.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm, a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Help members stay safe and healthy in pool, spa, sauna and steam room.
• Be attentive and alert at all times.
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment.
• Welcome and support members when using facilities.
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to incidents promptly.
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times.

As a Lifeguard, you will:

• Help our members stay safe and healthy when using our wet side facilities – the swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room
• Be attentive and alert at all times

• Welcome and support members when using the facilities
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to any incidents straight away
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times
